The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation will be carrying out relief works in 70 provinces across Turkey as well as 70 countries and regions, supporting our brothers and sisters in need and developing new projects to tackle problems. The foundation will be delivering zakat and donations of the charitable to people hit by wars, natural disasters and poverty.
FOOD PACKS TO THE POOR
The IHH will distribute food packs during Ramadan in Turkey and abroad. The packs containing basic necessities will put food on tables of the poor. Donors can meet needs of as many families as they wish by donating TL 60.
ORPHANS TO BE PLEASED THIS RAMADAN
The IHH will extend its help to orphans and their families this Ramadan. The foundation will support them with iftar meals and cash donations. Orphans will be given educational materials and stationery sets and if necessary cash donations. Donors can sponsor an orphan for at least one year with the Sponsor Family System and can buy clothes for as many orphans as they wish at this year’s Eid.
FUND IFTAR DINNERS AT MOBILE KITCHEN
The foundation will be organizing iftar programs in 26 provinces of Turkey with a kitchen trailer and donors will be given the opportunity to fund iftar meals at the mobile kitchen. Philanthropic people can also buy iftar meals for one or more persons by paying TL 5 per meal.
EDUCATIONAL AID TO STUDENTS
We will be providing educational aid to impoverished students in Turkey and worldwide to meet their educational materials needs. You can help impoverished students by giving them stationery sets with a TL 25 donation.
SEND ZAKAT, ALMS DONATIONS TO THE POOR VIA IHH
The foundation will deliver throughout Ramadan zakat, alms and fitr donations of benevolent people of Turkey to destitute people in war, occupation and natural disaster regions. Charitable people can deliver their donations to people dependent on humanitarian aid through the IHH.
FOOD BANKING FOR INSTITUTIONS
Institutions and commercial companies can donate through food banking and deduct these donations from tax payment as expense. Foodstuff, hygiene kit, clothes and fuel donations of institutions and commercial companies are treated as contributions to food banking. Invoicing of your donations by the IHH is enough for the institutions to contribute in this way. Charitable people can write the donations they make to the IHH as tax pay-off since the foundation enjoys tax exemption.
The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has been working in Ramadan months for the past 19 years to be the hope of people striving to survive. Today thousands of people are at the threat of death in Africa because of droughts. Many African countries, including North Africa countries, are experiencing serious hardships due to civil wars. Humanitarian situation in refugee camps of the Middle East is still dire, while the troubled Syrian people await humanitarian assistance.
