IHH Opened the Cihangir Mosque in Syria
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation constructed a mosque in the Aktarin town, north Syria.

The newly opened Cihangir Mosque is located in the Syrian town Aktarin in south Azaz, Syria where there is a large civilian population.

The mosque that was opened accompanied by prayers and a Qurban sacrifice, was constructed close to the site of the briquette house project.


Trees and plants were planted in the area surrounding the mosque.

Leading members of the public and NGO representatives attended the opening of the mosque.


Mosques and Madrasas are also under construction

IHH continues to support the oppressed, victims of war and those in need by building permanent works all over the world.

IHH, that has constructed permanent works in many parts of Syria, continues to build mosques and madrasas for Muslims in the safe zones along the Turkish-Syrian border.


In this scope, IHH is providing social and education support for people in the region.

Since 2011, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has provided aid in the form of food provisions, shelter, education and permanent works in Syria.
