IHH provides educational support to Syrian refugee children
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has provided educational support to the schools where Syrian refugee children receive education in Turkey.

IHH continues to take educational supplies to schools where Syrian refugee children receive education. IHH has taken 10,000 notebooks, 3,000 pencils, 3,000 sharpeners, 3,000 erasers, 3,000 pens and 2,300 booklets including surahs from Quran to a school in Antakya where refugee children go to. The children, who were very happy to receive the gifts, offered their thanks to the charity givers via the IHH.

IHH continues to provide various relief supplies to Syrian refugees. The foundation, which is currently delivering food and medical supplies to the Syrians in Hatay, Kilis and conflict-stricken parts of Syria, also support the education of refugee children. IHH is taking books and stationery supplies to the school in Hatay to this effect.

In the meantime, the school administration in Hatay arranged shuttle buses to take the children living in the surroundings of Hatay from their homes in the morning and leave them back home in the evening after school.

There are 320 children at the school where courses such as Math, Turkish, English and Quran are offered to children. The IHH has been taking books and stationery supplies in particular to the school which has been offering education for one year.
