IHH’s Ramadan Aid Reaches Vietnam
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation delivered food-hampers for Ramadan to Muslims in Vietnam. IHH is going to throw grand iftars of 3.000 people during Ramadan.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation launched its 2017 Ramadan campaign with the slogan of “They Wait for You” and reached out to Vietnamese Muslims as well. Hence food hampers for Ramadan were distributed to Vietnamese Muslims An Giang’s Chau Doc city and the surrounding 12 villages.  

230 Families Receive Aid

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation deputy president and Foreign Affairs head Hasan Aynacı said they started distributing Ramadan hampers prepared for Vietnamese Muslims. Aynacı said each Ramadan hamper contains 10 kg. rice, 2 kg. sugar, 1 box of noodles, 2 boxes of milk, 3 boxes of canned fish, 2 lt. cooking oil, and 1 kg. dates. Aynaci also said food hampers are going to be handed out to 230 families. Moreover grand iftars for three thousand people will be organized in various mosques in An Giang and Chi Minh cities. 


5 Million People Target

For almost about a quarter century IHH has been setting up grand iftar tables, distributing food hampers and food parcels, delivering the donors alms, charities sadaqah and fitrah to the needy in war and disaster struck places of the world. This year IHH is planning to reach out to 5 million people around the world and in Turkey to put a smile on the sad faces of orphans and the suffering.
