TES-İŞ-member İGDAŞ workers donated their earnings of one day to Gaza. "Condemning the Israeli aggression is not enough. Palestine needs help. We are working for Palestine today," union members said while handing one-day wages of 1,800 to the foundation to be sent to Gaza.

Speaking after handing the check to the foundation, Hüseyin Ozil, chairman of TES-İŞ Branch Number 3, said: "We wanted to do something to stop the violence in Gaza and to ease the suffering of the Gazan people. To help send foodstuff and medication to Gaza we are giving our support to the Palestine aid campaign. Our workers expressed their concerns. I would like to thank them all. I also thank the IHH for extending our aid to the affected people in the region so quickly."

"TES-İŞ members have always supported our aid campaigns. May Allah be pleased with them. We will buy most needed relief materials for the Gazan people with this money," Yavuz Dede, IHH deputy president, said while taking the check from the union officials.
