The conference being held by IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation in partnership with the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) will be taking place at the Holiday Inn Istanbul Airport Hotel.
NGO's from various parts of the Islamic world will be coming together to plan a roadmap for the upcoming future regarding various issues.
It is expected for NGO's to participate from approximately 200 countries that are part of the OIC. The conference is aimed to strengthen the historical and cultural ties between Islamic NGO's from participating countries, and also to increase the cooperation as well as developing joint projects between them.
The conference in which the role of NGOs are to be discussed within the context of historical and cultural ties, will be the stage to forecast joint projects for the near and far future based upon the problems that the Islamic World facing in political, economical and cultural ground.
It is being aimed with the conference where presentations, discussion sessions and workshops will take place to make the coordination between Turkey and the participating NGOs easier especially in the times of crisis and natural disasters, and to enhance the international capacity of Turkish NGOs.
