Israel Hurts Human Conscience Yet Again
The first vessel of the Freedom Flotilla II, among whose organizers is the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, to set sail Dignity/Al Karama was blocked by the Israeli military 50 miles off the coast
Palestine, MiddleEast, Turkey 19.07.2011

Israel continues to perpetrate crimes against humanity. Israel believes as long as it sticks to an attitude of disrespecting law the whole world will come to accept such an attitude. We want to make it clear that such attacks will fail to stop our determination to leave a world ruled by justice and peace to future generations as common heritage of mankind. The Palestinians in Gaza deserve as much as the people in other countries medication, food, and other basic necessities and most importantly the freedom to live without being dependent on help.

All the volunteers onboard the vessel that set out to deliver humanitarian aid and break the inhumane and unlawful blockade should be released immediately and those responsible for the raid should be punished. We are calling on the international community for the common interests of humankind: Israel’s unlawful, pro-violence policies should be put to an end immediately. The United Nations should also fulfill its responsibilities in accordance with the universal declaration of human rights, the UN Charter and other international conventions.

We announce that as the Freedom Flotilla we will carry on the effort until the blockade on Gaza has been lifted and Palestinians have been freed.
