Orphans gather at picnic
The IHH orphans unit organized a picnic in Çavuşbaşı, Istanbul with 250 orphans.

Last weekend, Orphan Care Department of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation arranged a picnic at Istanbul’s Çavuşbaşı recreation area for 250 orphans, whom it is caring for in Istanbul, and their families.
The picnic raised morale and motivation of the orphans. The picnic began with breakfast and included various recreational activities such as sack racing, egg-and-spoon racing, rope pulling, skipping rope, flag game. As the picnic program ended all orphans were given presents.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continued its support for orphans in 2023, providing assistance to hundreds of thousands of orphans and their families. IHH reached over 137,000 orphans every month in 45 countries, including Turkey, through the regular contributions of generous donors. The foundation operated 42 orphanages, 1 orphan education center, and 1 educational campus in 12 countries, touching the lives of hundreds of thousands of children through various projects.
