IHH Humanitarian Relief Organization organized an event called ¨Al-Quds and Martyrdom Day¨ in Kayseri.
IHH President Bülent Yıldırım, IHH Kayseri Office Head Şaban Sözduyar, father of Furkan Doğan who was martyrized in Mavi Marmara in 2010, and many other guests attended to the special night which was held in Kadir Has Cultural Center.
The organization started with the Qur'an recitation. Speaking in the night, Bülent Yıldırım stated that the USA, Israel, NATO, China, France, and India kill Muslims in many parts of the world, but in nowhere Christians kill Jews or other Christians.
¨Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians kill only Muslims¨
Mentioning that people don't draw a lesson from these killings, Yıldırım said:
¨Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians come together and kill only Muslims. As for us, we have been split up political parties, NGOs, groups and sects. We cannot retain our unity and solidarity. Aren't these killings exemplary for us? Let me know that if a Christian has killed another Christian. All of them kill Muslims, but we still cannot come together. Everyone has his own group, everyone has established his own tribe. May Allah give Muslims common sense. The most important community is the Ummah community. The most important goal is Islam. We represent the movement of Ummah. We have to leave tribalism. When they are dropping bombs on Muslims, they don't care any people from any group. I have seen Bosnia, Chechenia, Baghdad and all other war regions in the world. When they drop bombs, Imperialists and Zionists don't discriminate us as ¨This girl is uncovered, let her to live¨, ¨This girl is covered, kill her¨, ¨This is secularist, this is Islamist, this is from some sect and etc...¨ They just drop bombs on all the Muslim geography.
Bülent Yıldırım's memory of Furkan Doğan
Bülent Yıldırım mentioned his memory of Furkan Doğan who was martyrized by Israeli soldiers in Mavi Marmara in 2010. Yıldırım said: ¨I have always felt the sadness of not having a good conversation with two young people. One of them is Furkan Doğan. On Mavi Marmara, we had understood anymore that they would attack us. We were consulting each other. We were calling on the world. We were sending messages. For a while I had a free time and sat on a corner alone. Then the late Furkan came next to me and said ¨My president, can we talk a bit? I am going to sit for the university examination. Do you think is it ok if I become a doctor for our brothers in Africa ?¨ At that time I was so preoccupied thinking other things. I said ¨Let's talk this after a few days.¨ He had an urge to have a talk but I couldn't understand him then. This means that it is a matter of luck. Then Furkan continued to sweep the the floor of Mavi Marmara with a broom. He was working for everything voluntarily.¨
