Abdurrahman Dilipak, a nation-wide famous intellectual and Mehmet Kara, Vice President of IHH, have attended at the event organized by DOSTDER (Dost Culture, Education and Solidarity Association) to show support to the people of Gaza.

Huseyin Mutlu, President of DOSTDER, in his opening speech, noted that the situation in Palestine is not an issue concerning only Muslims anymore, but it has become a matter of conscience for all humanity.

Abdurrahman Dilipak, a writer and a journalist, said “We are the ummah (community) of a prophet who was sent as a blessing to all universe. Whoever the oppression comes from in the world, we are obliged and ordered to stand next to the oppressed against the oppressor.” in his speech.

Mehmet Kara, Vice President of IHH, said “God willing, the ships will embark on their journey in end of May and deliver the humanitarian aid to Gaza. Our intention is to provide relief for the people there.” 

Omer Karaoglu, a singer famous for his religious music, sang in the end of the event program.
