There are aid campaigns organized for drought-stricken Somalia in every part of the world. Donations collected in one of such campaigns, which was jointly organized by the Bereket Foundation and Svetionik Foundation in Novi Pazar, are being sent to Somalia.

Aydiva Salkoviç, an official from the Bereket Foundation, said IHH’s relief efforts in Somalia prompted them to launch an aid campaign in Sandzak. Salkoviç handed the donations to the IHH to be sent to Somalia.

“We followed Turkish nation’s relief efforts for Somalia with excitement. You really set a good example for the Islamic ummah. IHH and other aid organizations did a great job in Somalia. We are touched by this. Although there are many people in need of help in our region, we wanted to fulfill the responsibility for brotherhood,” Salkoviç said.
