IHH volunteers in Tokat, in cooperation with Hand to Hand Association, held a fundraising event for Gaza. The program began with recitations of parts from the Holy Quran, Ekrem Ozer, President of Hand to Hand Association gave an opening speech afterwards. Ozer stated that the people of Tokat are always benevolent when it comes to Palestine, such events are the proof. He also expressed his belief in the arrival of sufficient support from the people of Tokat for “Palestine Our Route, Humanitarian Aid Our Load” campaign run by IHH.

Dogan Ozluk, IHH volunteer in Tokat, gave a speech as well, informing the guests about the campaign. He emphasized the importance of continuity in aid campaigns. Yasar Kutluay, Vice President of IHH also gave information on the current status of the flotilla campaign to Gaza. Following the speeches, Omer Karaoglu, an artist famous for his religious music, gave a little concert, made up of his popular melodies. During the event, a food fair and a painting exhibition was held as well.
