We embrace people in need across 81 countries
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation teams that travelled to various corners of the world to take Ramadan relief have returned to Turkey.

IHH teams which went to different parts of the world in order to reach out to people in need just like they do in every Ramadan have completed their work.

Taking the donations of charity givers from Turkey to various parts of the world, IHH has shared the bounty of Ramadan with one million people in 81 countries and regions including Turkey.

Teams which included aid volunteers, doctors, psychologists, journalists and writers in addition to IHH members carried out a series of relief efforts such as delivery of food, fast-breaking (iftar) organizations, zakat-sadaqah delivery and provision of medial aidin predetermined regions.

The relief efforts included emergency aid work in crisis-hit and disaster-hit regions, delivery of hot meals on a daily-basis from mobile kitchens, aid for orphan children, delivery of food, clothing and furniture to regions which suffer from chronic hunger and poverty in addition to launch of permanent projects such as inauguration of tent cities, orphanages, mosques, schools and settlement units and offering of vocational training.

We took relief to 69 provinces and districts in Turkey

Relief efforts in Turkey took place in 69 provinces and districts mainly in eastern and southeastern Anatolia. Food packages were delivered to 25,000 families in need. In addition, as part of IHH’s orphan relief activities, 6,600 food packages and stationery sets were delivered to orphans in 41 provinces.

In addition to delivery of aid items, IHH toured 25 provinces with its mobile iftar truck throughout Ramadan and offered iftar meals to 45,000 people in Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Batman, Van, Muş, Bingöl, Erzincan, Çorum, Ankara, Bartın, Bolu, İnegöl, Kocaeli, Yalova, Balıkesir, Kütahya, Afyon, Isparta, Aksaray, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, Kayseri and Sivas over 25 days.

Mobile soup kitchen from Turkey to Ukraine
The mobile soup kitchen dispatched by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation to Ukraine, which is under Russian bombardment, departed from Istanbul. The soup kitchen was intended to provide food to 30,000 people each day. In addition, three truckloads of humanitarian supplies provided to Ukraine by the IHH in recent weeks have been delivered to war victims.
