IHH distributed emergency aid following the fire that destroyed 1.200 homes in the Arakan refugee camp in Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh.

IHH continued its aid operations in Afghanistan throughout 2021. On top of delivering 100 tons of wheat seeds and 10.14 tons of food aid, our foundation also provides regular support to 3.443 orphans.

In 2012, 17.200 people in 7 countries received cataract surgery as part of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation’s “Cataract Surgery Project.” The number of cataract surgeries performed by IHH since 2007 has reached 157.000.

In 2021 IHH delivered a total of 2.533 trucks of humanitarian aid weighing 65.000 tons to civilians living in various regions of war-torn Syria.

The Kur'an ve Sünnet Yolunda Grubu/Quran and Sunnah Group that conducts volunteer-based aid operations for the oppressed with the slogan “A Project a Month”, donated 56 trucks of coal to Syria via IHH as part of its December project.

IHH launched emergency aid operations in Indonesia following the eruption of the Mount Semeru volcano. Food was distributed as part of its initial aid.

IHH distributed stationary aid to 5.000 students studying in various schools in Idlib and Afrin.

The “1st Balkans NGOs Meeting” was organized in Tiran, the capital of Albania by IHH in collaboration with the Yunus Emre Institute.

IHH launched its emergency aid efforts to help the Typhoon Rai victims that hit the central and southeast regions of the Philippines.

45.000 people took refuge in Chad as a result of the conflict that broke out between tribes due to access to water sources and use of land. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation launched aid efforts for the refugees living under extremely difficult conditions in camps in the capital N’djamena.

Somalia is suffering from drought due to a lack of rainfall for two years straight. IHH launched aid operations to help more than 2.8 million Somalis affected by the drought.

IHH has just opened the Atila Orhan Orphanage for Girls in Bangladesh to care for 48 female students.

IHH has launched an aid campaign with the slogan “Winter is Coming, Don’t Leave Them Alone” for Syrians that are forced to live under extremely difficult winter conditions. As part of this campaign, 120 humanitarian aid trucks were sent off from Istanbul and various Anatolian cities to Syria.
