In the meeting especially the melodies by the Palestinian refugees living refugee lives in Lebanon made the watchers feel emotional. Lebanese orphan Maya said she was sad for her orphan brothers who could not come from Palestine since the Rafah Border Gate was closed. Maya’s words “ I want them to be here too much” were attention getting.After Yıldırım’s speech focusing on the importance of the orphans, Ammar 114 coming from Germany sang songs. After Ammar the orphans from Krygyzstan coming to the stage performed their local dances. Yıldırım pointing out that Turkish people were always with the wronged people, said “ We saw this in the activities for orphans as well. Till now we found sponsor families for 15 thousands of orphans. Our aim is to carry this number to millions. Because in the world there are 143 millions of orphans. I believe that we will reach this aim with the support of our charitable people.Making the inauguration speech of the program the chairman of IHH, Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief Bülent Yıldırım drew attention on the increase of the number of the orphans with the wars increasing in the world. Yıldırım pointed out that they arranged such an Orphans’ Get Together Program to bring the orphans living in various parts of the world into the agenda and enable the people to own the orphans. 4th International Orphans’ Get Together Program started in Halic Convention Center. The meeting that started at 19:30 was center of condensed participation. The Center was completely full. Those who could not find place in the Center watched the program from the displays placed outside the hall. The program started with Quran reading of the Ethiopian orphan. Later there was a cinevision presentation that was showing the aid activities of IHH, Humanitarian Relief Foundation.
