The IHH, with the support of the MÜSİAD, sent its third plane load of relief materials to Gaza since the Israeli offensive began. Speaking during the loading of the materials to the cargo plane, member of the IHH executive board Hüseyin Oruç said aid delivery to Gaza would continue incessantly. "Gaza is running out of everything," Oruç said and added the air cargo contained powdered milk enough for 20,000 children for a month, medication and medical equipment.
He also noted a ship loaded with 1,400 tons of relief materials would set out for Gaza in several days.
Eyüp Akbal, member of the MÜSİAD executive board, recalled the association had sent a plane load of humanitarian materials in cooperation with the IHH several weeks ago, adding "We are now dispatching a new cargo plane to Gaza. We as MÜSİAD will carry on supporting our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters in Gaza. Working to end the Israeli aggression is as significant as extending aid to the region. The international community and the Organization of the Islamic Conference should act immediately to broker a ceasefire."
